Features
Category
1. Add the server to your MCP client. For Claude Code: `claude mcp add babelize -e ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-... -- npx -y @babelize/mcp` 2. Open your app's repo and ask your agent: "Make this app global-ready in German and Japanese." 3. The agent runs `babelize_analyze` → `babelize_translate` → `babelize_check` and reports what changed. Analyze, check and review need no key. Translate needs one of ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, OPENAI_API_KEY, GEMINI_API_KEY, GROQ_API_KEY, OPENROUTER_API_KEY, or a free-tier BABELIZE_API_KEY (https://app.babelize.co/api-keys). babelize_analyze
Localization readiness report: framework, i18n setup, hardcoded strings (file:line), hardcoded dates/currencies/plurals, locale coverage, unused keys. Dry run, changes nothing.
babelize_translate
Extracts strings, wires them to next-intl or react-i18next, translates into target locales and writes locale files. Incremental via a lockfile.
babelize_check
QA of locale files: missing, stale or empty keys, untranslated values, lost placeholders, invalid ICU, wrong plural forms.
babelize_review
The same QA, limited to locale entries changed in the git diff.
make-global-ready
Guides the agent through analyze → translate → check → fix to make the app global-ready.
